Prior to meeting with the EAP counselor, you will be asked to complete some intial paperwork. Should you prefer, you may click on Client Information Sheet to download the form for completion and carry to your first appointment. The paperwork provides the therapist with useful background information to facilitate his or her work with you.

When you meet with the counselor, he or she will conduct an Assessment to identify and evaluate your presenting issus(s). The counselor will work with you to determine if is an issue that might benefit from Short-Term Counseling through the EAP, or rather, if a specialized Referral would be more appropriate. In the event a referral beyond the EAP is the preferred option, your HelpNet counselor will work with you to find a good match in consideration of your needs and/or insurance coverage.
